A quick note to congratulate you on the exceptional quality of your packaging when delivering wines. My two boxes (one of VALLI wines; the other from Cox's Vineyard - both Central Otago) were delivered a week ago. Each bottle was protected by a woollen 'sock' and both consignments were packed in cardboard egg trays. There was no way a bottle could have broken unless the entire case had been dropped from a considerable height.

Thank you very much for taking such good care of an expensive purchase.

We thought the padding of the wine box was outstanding - no horrible polystyrene beads all over the place - and such lovely woolen snugglies for the bottles. Thank you for your commitment to finding a viable alternative to polystyrene.

We used the packaging already in several ways. I cut the top layer into circles to put under our couch so that it would be easier to slide on the hardwood floors. One of the bottle sleeves, I wet then froze with an empty bottles inside of it, so that it acts as a temporary cooler instead of ice when we bring wine to friends' houses. The rest of the koozies we kept on the bottles so they don't jostle in their box as we prepare to move to a new house. I was thinking of taking one of the sleeves and shoving it in the crack between my driver's seat and the center console because I always seem to drop my phone/chapstick/work ID down there.

We were astonished to open the wine box and discover the packaging. Absolutely amazing! We were SO impressed by the eco-friendly products that has been used to protect the wine during shipment. The thick cardboard box to start with and then the individual woollen socks guaranteed that there was no damage to the wines at all. We kept the 'socks' but as yet have not found a way to reuse them.

For many years in the past our wine group used airline socks to disguise wines for blind tasting. Maybe these socks will be better!
