Haere mai - Welcome to Tiki Wine and Vineyards e-cellar door

Tiki Wine and Vineyards is a family owned, indigenous Māori wine producer based in the North Canterbury Wine Region of New Zealand that is committed to sustainable winegrowing. We care for our vines under the guiding Māori principles of kaitiakitanga: guardianship, protection, and preservation of the earth for future generations.

Owned by founders Royce and Sue McKean, our wines are named in honour of Royce’s great-great grandfather, Chieftain Tiki Tere Mihi. As well as Tiki honouring Royce’s great-great-great-grandfather, the name also represents a hand-carved Māori taonga (treasure) that, when gifted bestows good fortune and love upon others. We craft our wines with this same spirit in mind.

TIKI is the flagship brand and includes our core ranges - Single Vineyard and Koro.  We also produce wines under our Maui and Waiata labels, in markets around the world. Our Whānau Collection was released in July 2021, as a tribute to Royce's parents, Hariata & William McKean, and includes our Tiki Hariata Methode Traditionnelle and Tiki WJM Pinot Noir.

All of our wines are crafted in different styles to suit the diverse markets in which they are available, for Tiki lovers all over the world.
