Welcome to Marsden Estate e-cellar door
Nearly two centuries ago, the first grapevines were planted at Kerikeri That was the work of Samuel Marsden, the driving force behind the establishment of Anglican mission stations in New Zealand.
Nearly two decades ago, Rod and Cindy MacIvor followed in his footsteps with the establishment of the vineyard and wine estate they named after him.
Marsden Estate is youthful by comparison, but the vineyard, the gardens and the estate building look well settled into the sub-tropical landscape of New Zealand’s Far North.
Just a few minutes’ drive from Kerikeri village, Marsden Estate offers wine sales, tastings and tours, with innovative cuisine to complement its award winning wines. It’s known for the relaxed atmosphere of its courtyard dining space overlooking the lake and vines, with innovative cuisine that showcases the unique flavours of the region.
