Summer Aphrodisiac 2019 750ml

Our soft, vibrant take on a blend of arguably Waiheke's two most iconic grapes. The 2019 is made up of estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon (65%) and Syrah (35%), fermented over two weeks and aged for 12 months in oak (25% new). A medium bodied, elegant red with an intriguing nose of forest fruit and spice. The palate delivers cassis and ripe plum flavours with a hint of thyme.

"This hot, steamy wine was picked provocatively many years ago by a number of nubile nymphs. The juices were stomped on, pressed and then barrelled for many years with the lights out. The palate has saucy rich undergarments and an explosive finish. GOVERNMENT WARNING: THIS WINE WILL HAVE VASODILATOR EFFECTS AND WILL SHUNT BLOOD FROM ONE PART OF YOUR BODY TO ANOTHER.
