The ultimate expression of winemaking at Mission, Huchet wines proudly honour Brother Cyprian Huchet. The son of a French vigneron from the Loire, he became New Zealand’s pioneering winemaker whilst working at Mission from 1870-1899.
Produced limited editions of individually numbered bottles from outstanding vintages, just 1,680 bottles produced
Complex and sweet showing toasty and buttery aromas with peach and hints of almond. Ripe citrus and juicy stonefruit flavours, the palate is full bodied, rich with a fine s tructure, excellent fruit intensity and a long finish.
