Marlborough Pinot Noir 2020 750ml

Winemaking: The 2019/2020 growing season was long and dry, slightly cooler at the end, allowing fruit to be picked in pristine condition with ripe, concentrated flavours. The fruit was de-stemmed prior to fermentation. Gentle daily pumping over of the skins during fermentation helped extract a silky structure. Maturation in stainless-steel tanks captured and preserved the beautiful perfume and fruit freshness. The Wine: Lifted and fragrant aromas of fresh strawberries, black cherries, and sweet spices are evident on the nose along with hints of earthy, forest floor complexity. The wine is vibrant, supple, and silky-smooth in the mouth. Youthful fruit intensity, well-rounded tannins and juicy acidity combine to produce a long, succulent finish. A delicious, early drinking Pinot Noir that can be enjoyed on its own or partnered with salmon, poultry, or game dishes. Drink 2021 to 2026.
