Thomson's Block Rosé 2022 750ml

Thomson’s Block is an elevated, north-facing hillside vineyard located on Roys Hill behind the winery. A sheltered site, it is warm during the day but cool at night due to the air draining onto the plains below. This allows the grapes to develop maximum aroma and flavour while preserving natural acidity, the key ingredients for premium Rosé. About the Wine: Winemaking was strongly focused on enhancing the aromatics and delivering delicacy and finesse on the palate. Hand harvested Syrah grapes were gently whole bunch pressed to minimise colour pick up and obtain juice low in phenolics (tannins). The Thomson’s Block Syrah Rosé is fresh, aromatic, and elegantly dry with a pale salmon pink colour. An inviting bouquet, reminiscent of raspberries and strawberries, leads to beautifully weighted and harmonious palate that combines intense, spicy, red fruit flavours with a lingering, refreshing finish. Best enjoyed young, the Thomson’s Block Rosé will continue to drink well over the next two to three years. Enjoy on its own as an aperitif or partner with antipasto, sashimi, or smoked salmon. Serve chilled.
