Single Vineyard - Hand Picked

Grown by our dear friends, Keven and Kerry Tilly, on the heavier soils of their Southern Valleys vineyard. An intensely aromatic variety with a hint of sweetness. Gewürztraminer is the variety that convinced Mum and Dad to plant a vineyard!

Sight: Bright gold.

Smell: Fresh lychee and rose water. Like walking through a flower garden.

Taste: Classic turkish delight, ginger and floral vibrance. Off dry and balanced with a splash of acidity.

Pairing: Gewürztraminer is always an ideal accompaniment to oriental cuisine, especially Thai & Indian dishes. Also try with pâté, smoked fish or blue cheese.

Cellaring: Drink now or will reward a further 10 years of cellaring.

RS: 11g/L / Alc: 14.5% / TA: 4.4g/L

Soils: Hillside site in an isolated valley on a clay pan.

Training: Vertical shoot positioning.
