This is the place. Inspired by our precious environment, Dashwood embraces the natural beauty of the coastlines and unique flora and fauna that are synonymous with New Zealand. We've been crafting wines that are true reflection of the Marlborough region since 1989. 

The Wairau Valley and lesser-known Awatere Valley are characterised by stony, alluvial soils with low fertility, so the vines focus their energy on producing attractive, perfumed fruit, and the cool maritime climate means intense flavours are built up over a long ripening period.

Our wines are crafted in small parcels from sustainably farmed vineyards by highly awarded Chief Winemaker Stu Marfell. We endeavour to craft wines that showcase our region’s remarkable terroir, resulting in wines that are bright, yet textured and intriguing. Passionate, pedigreed winemaking.
