The Wrekin Vineyard
The Wrekin Vineyard lies within its own small valley, located on the north facing slopes of the Fairhall Valley. It's part of a sub-region of Marlborough known as the Southern Valleys.
The vineyard was established in 2002 as part of our working farm. Since commiting to organic viticulture in 2012 we have utlised biodynamic practices with the goal to improve the soil ecosystem across the farm and inturn, the grapes and wines crafted. Visit our website to read more
In 2022, we saw the completion of our on-site, gravity flow winery which means fruit will be grown, made into wine and aged without leaving the farm.

Land, organics & biodynamics
Ancient clay soils overlying greywacke parent rock are significantly different from the loess soils occurring in the lower areas. The elevation, rolling hillside and orientation of the vineyard blocks which were established on undisturbed soils also contribute to the unique terroir of this site.
