Our family first planted vines in Nelson in 1973; beginning a rewarding journey crafting excepional wines, over 50 years later, we proudly remain a family estate winery. 2019 was an outstanding vintage in Nelson with a very warm and dry growing season, resulting in outstanding parcels of the Brightwater vineyard Cabernet Franc. Our team was so impressed with the ripe flavoursome Cabernet Franc that we decided to keep it separate and bottle this outstanding parcel as a single varietal. Inky and generous, with rich fruit and fresh cracked black pepper. A stand out wine, from a stand out vintage.
