Seifried Nelson Chardonnay 2021 750ml

From humble beginnings in 1973, our family has continued to craft exceptional wines from our estate in Nelson. The Seifried label represents our premium estate wines, made from fruit grown on well-established vines, typically over eight years old. The 2021 Seifried Nelson Chardonnay is a highly concentrated wine, resulting from the exceptionally light 2021 vintage. Spring frost, poor December flowering, and Boxing Day hail led to a tiny crop but with outstanding fruit concentration. The wine offers vibrant notes of citrus, summer stone fruit, and cinnamon stick, paired with soft oak spice.

"The 2021 Seifried Nelson Chardonnay is a very concentrated wine from the exceptionally light vintage 2021. Citrus, summer stonefruit together with cinnamon stick spice and nutmeg come together building a tasty palate with gentle spice running the length."
