Seifried Nelson Grüner Veltliner 2021 750ml

Our family first planted vines in Nelson in 1973, beginning a rewarding journey of crafting exceptional wines from our family estate winery. Grüner Veltliner is the most widely planted white grape variety in Austria, Hermann Seifried’s homeland. We were thrilled to finally be able to grow Grüner Veltliner here in New Zealand after it passed through the long quarantine process. In 2008, we selected our Brightwater Vineyard to plant a small block of these very special vines. More recently, we have also established Grüner Veltliner vines in our Edens Road vineyard. This beautiful aromatic wine showcases notes of tree-ripened fig, white peach, and citrus blossom. The palate is dry and generous, with layers of succulent fruit. A must-try from our collection.
