It has all the care and attention of the other Pinots, but bottled earlier with less new oak.

The name references the Carrick Bend, our symbol of the people and land. Here, it is a metaphor for the more relaxed style of this wine.

The 2021 Unravelled is a delicious example of Central Otago Pinot, reflecting the fruits of the region, red cherries and red fleshed plums. It is well-rounded and nicely balanced, clove and all-spice can be found in amongst the ripe red fruits. Soft, yet a ball of energy on the palate, it finishes neatly with a hint of bitterness.

"The wine is attractively fruited and inviting on the nose showing dark cherry, floral, fragrant spice and toasted almond characters with a touch of savoury mushroom.
