Excelsior 1.5L Magnum Pinot Noir 2016 1.5l

Carrick Excelsior - named for the coal seam which was mined during the goldrush and lies beneath the Carrick Vineyards - is our finest expression of Pinot Noir. Derived from a particular parcel of older vines on our Cairnmuir Vineyard, each barrel in the final blend is further selected after an initial 10 months barrel ageing.

Intense, layered and persistent, the Excelsior spends 18 months ageing in barrel before being bottled without fining or filtration.
