The Bounder 2018

Lovely core of pinosity on the nose underpinned by aromas of sweet red cherry, raspberry and roses. Overall, fragrant, complex yet gentle and quite alluring. On the palate - delicious with flavours of red berries and cherry, layers of mostly older barrel spices, a dried herb and dry earth mineral combination. Tannins are fine, add texture and length. A great acid line adding a fresh and youthful appeal, and the finish is long and persistent. A delicious wine, floral, fragrant, varietal, fruity and packed with charm. Drinkable today, but will also cellar for many years to come.
