The growing season had record droughts followed by one of the driest autumns in decades. The 2020 Estate Syrah a standout, and the first for the two families creating a sustainable legacy on the land they share. Rich and vibrant, with intense flavour and impressive concentration, the 2020 Māwhitipana Estate Syrah is a beguiling mix of the dark fruit aromas of cassis, plum and black cherry, mingled with coffee, vanilla and hints of violets, lifted by spicy notes. A rich, seductive palate, with a dark chocolate and mocha finish. A limited vintage with only 115 cases produced.
