Owhanake Bay Estate has produced award and medal winning wines since 2006.

Our signature wine, the Owhanake Bay Estate ‘Anchorage’ Syrah, was awarded a gold medal and a trophy at the prestigous London based International Wine Challenge and recently won best syrah in New Zealand at the Aoteoroa Regional Wine Competition

It is important to us to produce the best quality grapes we can, so we do everything we can to by hand to improve the quality of our grapes, then we work with top winemakers to produce a top quality and elegant wine. We always have the way we want our wine to be in mind while making decisions through the season, which is why we love getting feedback about people enjoying our wines.

We are sustainably certified and employ a range of natural techniques alongside the more traditional ones.

For us, the aim of growing and making wine can be sumarised in one word: elegance.
