The Weaver White Blend 2024 750ml
Co-ferment of Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Riesling.
This co-ferment is a classic Alsace combination shining with bright fruit, seductive spice and freshness with that underlying mineral seam all Mānuka Flats Vineyard wines are known for.
The taste? Think that first bite of a summer nectarine.
The name 'The Weaver' was inspired by Grace (our grower's mum), a constant presence at Mānuka Flats Vineyard and an honorary member of our vineyard team. Marine biologist, mother, friend, community leader, skilled weaver and nucleus of the family. Her death during vintage 2023 was felt strongly by us all.
There is a nice symbolism too between the name and the practical action of weaving these different grape varieties together to create this new wine.
Nectarine, blossom, spice, poised.
